WholyFit chooses not to register with Yoga Alliance WholyFit certification meets or exceeds all of the standards for the highest quality professional programs. Ask us and we'll prove it, but we will not align ourselves with any Yoga agencies to receive their promotion. Although WholyFit Founder Laura Monica easily qualifies as equivalent to a Registered Yoga Teacher at the highest level, she does not choose to be a part of the Yoga Community.
Yoga Alliance promotes Yogic chanting, mantras and Kriyas as well as transcendental meditation techniques which are spiritually dangerous and lead people away from life, truth and peace. WholyFit does not include the study of traditional Yoga philosophies and practices in WholyFit teacher training. Instead, we study the Bible and promote Christian Lifestyle practices of Scripture Memorization, Prayer, Worship, Celebration and Rest.
As wholly devoted Christians we cannot make unholy alliances with those who lead people away from the truth of Christ. We at WholyFit do not contribute our time, energy and money to any Yoga organizations, especially Yoga Alliance, whether represented as Christian or not, which promote the traditional philosophies of Yoga by requiring the study and practice of a traditional Yogic
lifestyle.
Bias in hiring is against the law! No organization has the legal right to demand alliance with organizations which compromise your faith and conscience. There is no need to register with Yoga Alliance. Instead, prove that you are EQUIVALENT to the highest professional standards in your expertise, training and experience.
