Looking for Jesus?
See an intimate moment with the living Savior artistically represented in the picture at the right taken of Leah Nelson leading a WHOLYFIT class. The Cross is NOT about death or defeat. The Cross is a symbol of the ultimate love of Jesus Christ, the risen Savior who lives today. We worship this living Savior and because He lives, you can live the exciting life He has planned for you. It's all about His resurrection power!
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me and the real life I now live,
I live by faith in the Son of God
who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Galatians 5:22
"The Offending Cross"

Some people will take offense to what I am about to say.
You see, at the foot of the cross, the ground is leveled. Regardless of social status, nationality, or ethnic background -- everyone must come to God through the cross of Jesus Christ. And that offends many people.
The Apostle Paul said, "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:18, NIV).
Those who reject the cross of Christ as the only way to forgiveness and eternal life view the cross as nonsense. Human wisdom cannot understand -- let alone accept and submit to -- the fact that the cross is the only way to God. But it is true: There is no other way to God and heaven but through the cross of Christ.
Everyone on earth belongs to one of two categories: those who are being saved and those who are perishing. There is no third category. And whatever category you fall into depends on your view of the cross.
Anyone who rejects the cross is like a drowning person refusing a lifeline. And what could be more foolish? Whether we recognize it or not, from the moment we are born, we are drowning -- and Jesus Christ is the only one who can pull us to safety and to eternal security. It might not be the way we like it, but it's the only way that God provided.
Because of the cross,
Michael Youssef, Ph.D.
We'd like to try to rescue ourselves, but the drowning person has only one place to go -- to the cross of Christ. If you have never given your life to Christ, I urge you to let Him rescue you from the self-sustaining life, to the life of peace and contentment. Find out how by reading "The Way to Salvation."
